I just realised something.
When under immense stress, those who are more competent will do better, leaving those who are weaker behind. The weaker ones get alienated and abandoned, trying hard to fend for themselves or simply succumb to pressure. While the stronger gets better, they start competing with those who are better. This applies to everyone's life, that's why people start concocting motivational statements, such as "Never give up!" or "Come on! You can do it". Corny and stupid these may sound, it might actually work. The next time you encounter troubles or difficulties in life, try saying these, it might work or not. After all, these depends solely on your beliefs and will the work hard. So give it a try, it might simply just work!
